Minimum initial term of 3 months, then month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. No 12-month lock-ins. One gym per roughly 5 km catchment — we will not work for your direct competitor while you are a client.

We do not guarantee rankings, leads or member numbers. Nobody legitimately can — Google says so, and so does the ACCC. Expect first movement in 60–90 days and meaningful lead flow in 3–6 months.

Prices in AUD, excluding GST. Onboarding is a one-time fee, invoiced with the first month.

03Onboarding fee

The onboarding fee, explained.

$500–1,000, once, with your first invoice. It pays for the month of setup that makes every later month measurable.

What it covers

  • Access to your Business Profile, Search Console, GA4 and hosting, set up in your name, not ours.
  • A baseline: full site crawl, Business Profile audit, citation scan and a snapshot of the map pack across your catchment.
  • Your keyword and catchment map: the searches you actually compete for, suburb by suburb.
  • Tracking that makes month six comparable with month one: calls, direction requests, form fills, trial bookings.
  • A written 90-day plan with the order of work and what each piece is meant to move.

Why it is a range

A small site with accounts that already exist sits at the low end. Untangling a previous agency, a site migration, or a profile with years of neglect sits at the high end. You get the exact figure in writing before you sign, and it never changes after.

Managed website

No separate onboarding fee: the setup is part of the build. Add an SEO plan later and most of the setup is already done, which we take into account when quoting the onboarding fee.

04Terms

Terms you can read in a minute.

The short version is here. The full terms say the same thing with more commas.

Minimum initial term
3 months. Long enough to see whether the work is moving anything (first movement is typically 60–90 days), short enough that neither of us is stuck. Leaving inside those 3 months costs a modest early-exit amount, set out in your agreement before you sign.
After that
Month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days’ written notice; an email is fine, and there is no exit fee.
No 12-month lock-ins
We do not offer them, do not discount for them and will not ask you to sign one. Ever.
Billing
Monthly by BECS direct debit. The onboarding fee goes on the first invoice. Prices are in AUD, excluding GST; GST is itemised where it applies.
Ownership
Your domain, Business Profile, Search Console, GA4, content and site are yours from day one and stay yours when you leave.
Exclusivity
One gym per roughly 5 km catchment while you are a client. Details below.

05Not included

What we do not do.

Some of these are outside our lane. Two of them are things no honest agency should touch.

Paid ads

We do not run Google Ads or Meta campaigns. If paid makes sense for you, we will say so and point you to someone who does it well.

Social media

Instagram and TikTok are a different job. We will make sure your profiles point to the right pages, and that is where we stop.

Photography and video

Real photos of your gym matter more than most things we do. We will tell you exactly what to shoot; we do not shoot it.

Membership software

We link to your booking system and make sure it is tracked. We do not set up, migrate or support it.

Paid links, ever

We do not buy links or place you in link networks. It is against Google’s rules and it eventually costs the client, not the agency.

Bought or gated reviews

No incentives for reviews and no filtering unhappy members away from Google. Both breach platform rules and Australian Consumer Law.

06Exclusivity

One gym per catchment.

Two gyms in the same suburb cannot both be the first result for “boxing gym near me”. So we do not pretend, and we do not take both.

While you are a client we will not work for a direct competitor within roughly 5 km. The line is drawn around the searches you actually compete for, not a perfect circle on a map, and a boxing gym and a yoga studio on the same street are not competitors. It is first come, first served; if a competitor asks later, we say no and we tell you they asked. If you leave, the spot opens up after your notice period.

07The honest bit

We do not guarantee rankings, leads or memberships.

We do not guarantee rankings, leads or member numbers. Nobody legitimately can — Google says so, and so does the ACCC.

Why not

Google decides what ranks, and it changes its mind several times a year. Your competitors are moving too. A run of bad reviews, a change of address or a January rush can shift the numbers more than anything we do in a given month. AI assistants are even less predictable: nobody can promise where they send people.

An agency that guarantees a position is either guessing or planning to break the rules to hit it, and under Australian Consumer Law a guarantee it cannot keep is misleading conduct. We would rather lose the sale.

What we commit to instead

  1. A written plan with dates

Before month one starts you have the plan: what we are fixing, in what order, and when each piece lands.

  2. The work itself, logged

Every month you see what was done, not just what happened. If a month is light, you will see that too.

  3. Reporting from your own accounts

Search Console, GA4 and Business Profile performance, in your name. We never show you a number you could not check yourself.

  4. Honest timelines and early warnings

First movement typically shows in 60–90 days; meaningful lead flow in 3–6 months. If it is not moving, we tell you before you have to ask.

  5. You own everything

Domain, Business Profile, Search Console, GA4, content, site. We work inside your accounts and leave nothing hostage.

  6. A door that is never locked

After the initial 3 months, 30 days’ notice ends it. No exit fees, no hand-over charges. Leaving inside the first 3 months costs a modest early-exit amount, set out in your agreement before you sign.

08Questions

The questions gym owners ask before signing.

Anything missing? Ask us and we will answer within a business day.

How do I cancel?

Email us. After the initial 3 months, the agreement is month-to-month and ends 30 days after your notice. We hand over anything that is not already in your name, you keep the lot, and the direct debit stops. The initial 3 months is a commitment on both sides; it is there because that is how long it takes to see whether the work is moving anything, not to trap you.

If you need to leave inside the initial 3 months, there is a modest early-exit amount that reflects the work already scheduled — never the whole remaining term. The figure is in your agreement before you sign it, not invented on the way out.

Is there a setup fee?

Yes: a one-time onboarding fee of $500–1,000 on the Foundation and Growth plans, invoiced once with your first month. It covers the baseline audit, account and tracking setup, the catchment keyword map and the written 90-day plan. On the managed-website plan it is included in the build. Where you land in the range depends on the state of your site and accounts, and we tell you the exact figure before you sign.

Who owns what?

You do. Your domain, Google Business Profile, Search Console, GA4, hosting account, content and website stay in your name from day one; we work as a manager or editor inside your accounts. If you leave the managed-website plan, we give you an export of the site. The full wording is in our terms.

Do prices include GST?

Prices are in Australian dollars and shown excluding GST. Where GST applies it is added as a separate line on the invoice, and you will see it on the quote before you agree to anything.

Why a three-month minimum if there are no lock-ins?

Because a month of local SEO proves nothing either way. First movement typically takes 60–90 days, so 3 months is the shortest honest trial. After that it is month-to-month with 30 days’ notice, and we do not offer, ask for or discount 12-month contracts.

Can I start with the managed website and add SEO later?

Yes. Plenty of gyms need the site sorted before SEO can do anything for them. The build is done with SEO in mind either way, so nothing has to be redone when you add Foundation or Growth.

What if you already work with a gym near me?

Then we will tell you straight away and decline, because we cannot honestly work for two gyms competing for the same searches. Exclusivity is one gym per roughly 5 km catchment, first come, first served, for as long as they remain a client.

Do you guarantee results?

We do not guarantee rankings, leads or member numbers. Nobody legitimately can — Google says so, and so does the ACCC. What we do commit to is listed above: the plan, the work, the reporting from your own accounts, honest timelines and terms you can walk away from.

What decides where I land in a price range?

Mostly scope: how many programmes and pages you have, how much of the site needs rebuilding versus fixing, how competitive the catchment is and how much history there is to untangle. You get a fixed monthly figure in writing before you start, and it does not creep.
